DON'T JUDGE ME
let.me.tell.you.what.i.look.like
A little bit taller than the average 17-year-old, Parker stands just under six feet tall. He has a lightly muscular build, nothing jaw-dropping, but there is a definite tone to his body similar to what a swimmer would have. While not pale as a ghost, the man-boy definitely isn't too tan. Despite not having an impressive physique, he carries himself confidently, but not even close to an arrogant or douchey way, and the constant smile plastered on his face definitely defers any though to the contrary. There is a definite bounce in his step that exudes happiness, and overall he has a generally happy disposition. None of his facial features are anything unusual, his nose and lips of average size and position, his eyes a symmetrical distance apart. His irises are an interesting hazel-brown color; when reflecting sunlight, they appear a shimmering, almost golden color, while in lower lighting seem to be a significantly less dynamic dark brown.
As far as clothing goes, Parker is nothing special. He rarely dresses well, but also equally as rarely dresses "poorly". Jeans, sneakers, and a t-shirt is his most common outfit, with variations according to weather and activity. His closet is full of humorous shirts, with a few monochromatic shirts thrown in. They are all slim-fitting, some almost too small on him. Jewelry is never found on him, no watches, necklaces, or piercings of any kind. Preferring to use his personality to define himself, overall his appearance isn't catered toward making any statements nor having any real suggestion toward his emotions for the day.

Parker is one of those guys that everyone likes. Not too serious to have a good time, but not completely out of control. Sure, he enjoys his parties now and then, but now that he's becoming a Pokémon trainer, his priorities have started align themselves. Despite the aspirations to a focused goal, Parker remains rather unfocused, always being ready to crack a joke or find some other way to goof off. His party-boy side is one that can elicit a laugh from even the most uptight person, having a wide sense of humor that can appeal to everyone. Lightening the mood is always his priority, by whatever means necessary. While often childish, Parker definitely knows how to partake in more mature activities, thought it can be hard for him to stay interested in them. His hyperactive nature is much more conducive to adventures and excitement, or really anything that doesn't require much depth of thought.
When dealing with other people, Parker is far more trusting and loving than a smart person would be. Because he is an open book about himself, he is much more gullible or ignorant to other people's lies and deception. Also not exceptionally emotionally deep, any relationships are far more physical than emotional, friendship and otherwise. As long as someone is as keen on having a good time and keeping things superficially enjoyable, he is more than happy to keep them around him frequently. He definitely is an eternal optimist, and prefers the sunshine of life to the cloudier moments.
WHERE I COME FROM
if.i.had.to.write.an.essay;
Growing up in the great city of Mauville, everything was all flashy and fun all of the time. With the bike store in town and the large biking route just south, the activity and racing was often quite the rush, even for a young Parker. With a beach to the east, the desert to the north, a battle tent and contest hall to the west in Verdanturf, and the bike path to the south, excitement was literally in every direction. A strong sense of adventure developed within the boy, primarily from his ventures into the desert. The mysteries that lay within the sandy dunes constantly intrigued him, though he was rarely allowed out there alone, given that he was too young to start his Pokémon career. That was why visiting the exciting contest hall and battle tent was his next favorite, watching the powerful and impressive displays of Pokémon trainers and coordinators was awe-inspiring, though more in a spectator way than an aspiring way. More often than not, up until he was 16, Parker would be found goofing off, having fun at the beach or on the bike route. In the town of electricity, everything was a constant party.
His well-cultivated lackadaisical attitude led him to becoming a very superficial person. Not in the material sense, but emotionally he just never found something that kept him grounded, all of his passions being so extravagant. His parents would try and find him something constructive to focus on, but his attention span would never stick, especially if the activity prevented a lot of movement or engagement. To be labeled ADD or ADHD would be an understatement; the young adult had always so many racing thoughts and ideas that he couldn't sit still for anything. Being such a "fun-seeker", his attitude always was positive, making him a very friendly and open person. He considered anyone a potential friend, and trusted people far more than he probably should. While it could be attributed to his insatiable desire for interesting prospects, it is far more likely that the childish attitude he's maintained never really matured into a more cynical or realistic view on the world, like some, less friendly and trusting people would have.
A few weeks after his Seventeenth birthday, Parker realized that most of his childhood friends had all gone off to start their Pokémon adventures, while he had been left behind in his juvenile and hedonistic behavior. Making the decision to try and buckle down, the almost-man traveled to Littleroot Town, determined to begin his first matured exploration into the world of Pokémon.
